Imam Kadhim 'a symbol of patience'

An Indian Friday Prayer Imam Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Naqi Mahdi Zaidi has stated in the mourning ceremony of Imam Musa Kadhim (PBUH,” This great Imam was a symbol of patience and kindness, and he treated even his enemies with kindness and generosity.”

Hawzah News Agency- on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH), a mourning ceremony was held under the title "Mourning for the Captive of Baghdad" at the Husayniyya of Aal Abu Talib (PBUH) in Taragra, India. This ceremony, accompanied by the enthusiastic presence of lovers of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT), created an atmosphere full of love and devotion to the infallible Imams.

In this ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Naqi Mahdi Zaidi, Friday Imam of Taragra, explained the various dimensions of the personality and moral virtues of Imam Kadhim (PBUH). Referring to the title "Kadhim", which means the one who suppresses anger, he said,” Imam Musa Kadhim (PBUH) was a perfect example of patience and tolerance. He was kind and generous even to his enemies and those who spoke ill of him. In the darkness of the night, anonymously, he rushed to help the poor and needy and illuminated the hopeless hearts with the beam of hope.”

The Indian cleric further elaborated on the beautiful story of the guidance of the Imam (PBUH) to the Bishr the Barefoot and said,” Bishr the Barefoot, who was immersed in the worldly pleasures, was transformed by the guidance of the Imam through just a short message and turned to asceticism and worship. This shows that a kind behavior and a pleasant word from the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) can transform the destiny of an individual.”
